Internships
Of all the activities a student can do or have, high GPA, good school, athletics, club involvement, competitions, and others, the one activity that has the most impact on a student's ability to get a job and increase their starting salary is for them to participate in an internship. Internships are opportunities for students to gain work experience while still in school. They are different than after school jobs which provide pocket money, they provide targeted experience in the field in which the student is considering to make a career.
There are no CIS internships available at this moment. Please check later for updates. Check with Txstate Career Services for an up-to-date listings of available internship positions.
