The Department of Computer Information Systems was established in 1974. It is one of the five departments in the College of Business Administration. The Department of CIS & QM has graduated over 1,600 alumni who are currently working in a wide variety of Information Technology related jobs.
Our CIS graduates pursue careers as IT integrators, enterprise system architects, database administrators, network administrators, information security analysts, systems analysts, application developers, digital-business solution developers, or information systems managers. Graduates work for technology companies, government agencies, accounting firms, oil companies, financial institutions, retail firms, and manufacturing concerns.
All CIS classes are taught by Doctoral and/or professionally qualified faculty. Average class size is about 40 students.
