Admission Requirements


The items listed below are required for admission consideration for entry during the current academic year.  Submission instructions, additional details, and changes to admission requirements for semesters other than the current academic year can be found on The Graduate College's website.  International students should review the International Admission Documents webpage for additional requirements.

  1. completed online application on Apply Texas
  2. nonrefundable application fee
  3. bachelor's degree  from a regionally accredited university
  4. official transcripts from each institution where course credit was granted
  5. a competitive GPA in your last 60 hours of undergraduate course work (plus any completed graduate courses)
  6. official GRE or GMAT (general test only) scores required with competitive scores
  7. responses to specific essay questions
  8. resume detailing work experience, extracurricular and community activities, and honors and achievements
  9. two recommendations letters from persons able to assess student's ability to succeed in graduate school
  10. nonrefundable international evaluation fee (if applicable)
  11. background course work in: ACC 2361 Introduction to Financial Accounting1, ACC 3313 Intermediate Accounting I2, QMST 2333 Business Statistics1
