MSDAIS Degree Curriculum

The MSDAIS program consists of a 30-hour curriculum; 24 hours of core courses which provides the analytical and information technology skills needed to analyze and manage large data sets to support data-driven decision making.  Students may choose either a thesis option (6 Hours) or non-thesis option (6 Hours ) of prescribed courses.  Students may also utilize an internship as an elective.

Course Requirements

The core courses provide a blend of analytical and information technology skills, which includes data visualization, predictive, prescriptive and descriptive analytics, machine learning, database management, data warehousing, scientific computing and querying languages.
